Carla Hope

Carla Hope is a proud Wiradjuri Sistergirl, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, a parent to two daughters, a student of psychology, a wife, and a memoirist whose work explores identity, resilience, and the quiet courage of living one’s truth. A trauma survivor, Carla has rebuilt her life from the inside out, learning to honour the girl who lived beneath the surface and stand fully in the woman she has become.
Carla is also a passionate bike and car enthusiast, finding freedom in engines, open roads, and the communities that gather around them. As a member of Dykes on Bikes Sydney, and Early Falcon Club of NSW she embraces connection, pride, and the power of showing up authentically.
Through her writing and her work with Live Your Truth, Carla offers grounded presence, somatic awareness, and a deep belief that every person deserves to live a life that reflects who they truly are. Her mission is simple: to walk beside others as they return to themselves, gently, bravely, and without apology.

Approach & Philosophy

At Live Your Truth, our approach is grounded in compassion, presence, and the belief that every person deserves to live a life that reflects who they truly are. We work gently and deliberately, honouring your pace, your story, and the wisdom of your body.

Our philosophy is simple: you don’t need to become someone new you need to come home to yourself. We support this through a trauma‑informed, relational, and somatic practice that helps you understand what lives beneath the surface and how to move through the world with clarity and dignity.

The Three Pillars: Soften → Stabilise → Step Forward

Soften

We begin by softening the tight places, the old narratives, the protective patterns, and the internal pressures that keep you small. Softening creates space for truth to emerge without force.

Stabilise

With grounding, pacing, and nervous‑system awareness, you learn to stabilise in who you are. This pillar builds internal steadiness, helping you stay connected to yourself even when life feels overwhelming.

Step Forward

When you are ready, you begin taking values‑aligned steps that reflect your authentic self. These steps may be subtle or bold, quiet or visible, but each one moves you toward a life that feels honest and intentional.

A Human‑Centred Philosophy

We believe growth happens through connection, not pressure. We believe your story deserves dignity. We believe your identity is valid and whole. We believe truth is something you live, not something you perform.

Our approach is not about perfection. It is about presence, compassion, and the steady return to yourself.
